Registration Area
Registration areas are available at all locations. Some patients are pre-registered but will still need to check-in with the registration area since there are some other documents that will need to be read and signed.

We offer a wide array of imaging services:
- General Diagnostic Radiology
- Mammography
- 64-slice CT Scan (Computerized Axial Tomography)
- Short-bore MRI (open design so patient is not fully enclosed)
- Ultrasound
- Interventional Radiology
- Bone Density Scans
Directions to the Imaging Center
(From I-81 North or South)
- Follow Route 460 West Bypass for 5.7 miles to Exit 5A onto South Main Street.
- Follow blue hospital signs for less than a mile to the entrance of Montgomery Regional Hospital at Puller Lane.
- Continue straight on Puller Lane, passing the hospital on your right.
- Take a left at the first intersection (before the parking lot.) Take a right on Davis Street. The Imaging Center is immediately on your left.
Please note: The Imaging Center is not located inside MRH and you will not need to register in the hospital prior to your visit.

We operate a radiographic and mammography outpatient clinic in Christiansburg.
Test Results
Technologists can not release your results to you. Your physician will have access to your report within 48 hours after your exam.
Release of Films
The Diagnostic Imaging department has now implemented a PACS (Picture Archieving Computer System) and will therefore release a CD of your images. The department requires a 24-hour notice so that you are not kept waiting for your images.
Films for Comparison
Films from prior exams will assist our Radiologist in comparing your present exam in order to make a thorough interpretation.
Please know we value your time however some emergencies do occur and diagnostic procedures may need to be performed immediately, therefore, extending your waiting time.
